Pre-Tribulation Rapture

Pre-Tribulation Rapture - (Biblical) Fact or Deception?

And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you:     Mark 13:5

The so called ´pre-trib rapture´ is very popular among christians today. This doctrin is about the snatching away of believers  b e f o r e  the Great Tribulation occurs. But is it true Biblical teaching?
In a secret ´rescue mission´ Jesus will gather all believers, and all the other people are ´left behind´ desperatly. Which verses in the Bible could be found to support this doctrin?

Apparently this doctrine is a new teaching and not part of the original teachings of the Apostles and even Jesus Christ Himself. According to the following texts it is not true, that Christians will not suffer the tribulation:

Dan 7:21 referring to the Antichrist’s reign over Christians:

  • I was watching; and the same horn was making war against the saints, and prevailing against them.
  • Dan 7: 25 again referring to the Antichrist’s reign
  • He shall speak pompous words against the Most High, Shall persecute the saints of the Most High, and shall intend to change times and law. Then the saints shall be given into his hand for a time and times and half a time.
  • Dan 8:24 again referring to the Antichrist’s reign
  • His power shall be mighty, but not by his own power; He shall destroy fearfully, and shall prosper and thrive; He shall destroy the mighty, and also the holy people.
  • Rev 12:17
  • And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
  • Rev 13:7
  • It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation.

The good news is: the rapture will happen!

The bad news is: the rapture will happen a f t e r the sound of the last trumpet is fading ...

There is one ultimate proof when the second coming will happen - the words spoken by our Lord Jesus Christ himself:
"Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;"(2 Thess:2:3)

... for that day (the day of the Lord) shall not come, except there come a falling away f i r s t
... and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition.

This is the time frame: first there must be a  g r e a t  falling away - a massive and sudden apostasy, and the Anti-Christ must be revealed.
